The City & Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO) has initiated the tender process to select a consultant for Master Planning and Architectural Consultancy Services for the establishment of Maharashtra Sadan in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
The Maharashtra government is actively resuming the construction of Maharashtra Sadan, which had been stalled since 2014. Despite CIDCO reserving four plots of land totaling 8000 SqM more than 15 years ago, the state is yet to have its own Bhavan, unlike 18 other states, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Kerala, who have seized the opportunity and constructed their own.
