Danfoss Power Solutions conducted a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, March 4, to begin the construction of a manufacturing facility in Pune. The company will invest an estimated 1,000 INR-Crore in this state-of-the-art facility, making it their seventh in India.
The upcoming manufacturing unit in Talegaon will span an anticipated 44 Acres and significantly enhance production capacity for pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves. This expansion will further strengthen the company’s industrial footprint in India. Construction is expected to finish in the second half of 2026.

Additionally, Danfoss will establish an Application Development Centre (ADC) at the Talegaon unit to focus on machinery research and development. This facility will also integrate sustainability initiatives, supporting the company’s goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. Currently, Danfoss operates manufacturing plants in Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru, and two other locations in Pune.
