About the Project:

Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC) plans to develop a state of art Bengaluru Signature Business Park in an area of 407.08 acres, at Devanahalli, Bengaluru District, Karnataka.

The proposed development comprises:

  • Business District comprising Corporate Offices, Parks, Mall & Multiplex, Premium Corporate Parks and Club.
  • MICE & Retail District comprising Bengaluru International Convention Center.
  • Design & Culture District comprising, Media Center & Offices, Arts & Crafts Center, Cultural Museum, Design Experience Center/Product Experience & Launching Center.
  • Innovation and Research District comprising R&D Centers, Center of Excellence /Incubation Center, Office Buildings e. Other office buildings comprising business offices and some public offices.

Current Scenario:

The project was kept in abeyance for over a decade owing to the downturn in investor sentiment following the 2008 recession. After 10 years of assurances and false starts, the city’s largest business park is seeing some progress.

In February (2018), months before the State Assembly elections, the foundation stone was laid for the Bengaluru Signature Business Park. This seemed to be the stepping stone towards the fruition of the private-public-partnership project that was first touted when the airport was commissioned in 2008.
