Envision Energy has seized the opportunity to construct a 653.4 MW (megawatt) “Wind Energy Park” project from JSW Energy. This wind project will come up in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
As per the announcement on Thursday, October 12, the wind project will generate 2200 GWh (gigawatt hour) of clean energy. It will be commissioned by the end of 2024 in a phased manner. Envision Energy will provide 198 units of EN 156 – 3.3 MW Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) for this project.

With this project, India aims to take a step forward towards the “net-zero emission” goals. It will also play a key role in boosting the renewable energy capacity in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
