Epsilon Advanced Materials (EAMPL), a battery materials manufacturer based in Mumbai, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KRI Inc, a prominent Japanese research company, to establish a state-of-the-art Advanced Technology Centre with an investment of INR 300 crore.
The main objective of the new facility is to enhance domestic capabilities in testing advanced cell-grade materials and strengthen the testing and manufacturing of battery performance materials within the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in India.
The research facility will cater to the needs of battery manufacturers and customers in India and around the world. It will provide cost-effective solutions and internationally recognized certifications for performance material products. Additionally, the facility is expected to create employment opportunities for researchers and scientists, promoting international exposure and fostering collaborative efforts.
