Epsilon Advanced Materials (EAM) plans to establish a cathode plant in India with an estimated investment of INR 5,000 Crore. The company is actively considering states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana for setting up the facility.
EAM, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Epsilon Carbon, is also investing USD 1.1 Billion in Karnataka. Their manufacturing facility in Bellary, Karnataka, will produce 100,000 tons per annum of synthetic graphite anode material by 2030. Additionally, Epsilon operates globally, with graphite anode facilities in the US and Finland.

By 2030, Epsilon’s graphite anode material business is projected to cater to 100 GW with a topline of about INR 20,000 Crore. Furthermore, their cathode material business will serve 50 GW of cell capacity with a topline close to INR 10,000 Crore.
