Construction of EWS Houses to take place under Light House Projects in six states in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared 2019-20 as Construction Technology Year during the inauguration event of Construction Technology India (CTI) 2019 Expo-cum-Conference under Global Housing Technology Challenge-India (GHTC-India).
Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) launched GHTC-India(Global Housing Technology Challenge-India) which aims to get globally acclaimed, alternate and proven construction technologies for speedier and cost-effective construction of affordable housing. Subsequently, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) had published Request for Proposal (RFP)on July 05, 2019 at www.eprocure.gov.in. for construction of Light House Projects (LHP) at 6 selected sites under GHTC-India.
The construction of the Light House Projects will be at :
- Indore, Madhya Pradesh
- Rajkot, Gujarat
- Chennai, Tamil Nadu
- Ranchi, Jharkhand
- Agartala, Tripura
- Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
