The Ministry of Finance, Government of India, has approved INR 284 Crore for the detailed project report (DPR) of Unity Mall, a project to be undertaken by the Ujjain Development Authority (UDA).
Ujjain Development Authority (UDA) will construct Unity Mall on Harifatak-Mahakal Road, situated near Hotel Imperial. The state government has allocated 3.20 hectares of land for this construction. The planned Unity Mall will consist of a four-storey building. The total built-up area of Unity Mall is expected to span over 2.25 Lakh-SqFt.
Moreover, the top floor of Unity Mall will house two big multiplexes. The design and architecture of the entire Unity Mall will be intricately crafted to reflect the grandeur of Mahakal Lok, considering the cultural and mythological significance of Ujjain.
