Fortune Hotels, a member of the ITC Hotel Group, has signed the operating agreement for two Fortune Park brownfield projects in Kochi at Athani and Kakkanad. The renowned hospitality chain plans to unveil a collection of new hotels, marking its much-anticipated entry into Kerala.
The Athani addition is anticipated to open in March 2025 and will feature 72 premium rooms and suites. The upcoming hotel will be a 10-minute drive from Cochin International Airport and is set to be the first branded hotel in the area. It will be a premier address for transient guests, both business and leisure.

The Kakkanad project will be developed as a business hotel and is scheduled to open by the end of 2025. It will be located in the Ernakulam district of Kerala and feature 67 rooms. Kakkanad is a pivotal location with a robust IT presence and thriving industrial activities in Kerala’s Ernakulam district, which is home to umpteen IT and industrial projects.
