Foundation Stone Laid for 470 INR-Crore National Academy of Coastal Policing in Dwarka by Shri Amit Shah

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, laid the foundation stone for the permanent campus of the National Academy of Coastal Policing (NACP) in Dwarka, Gujarat. The ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including the Union Home Secretary and Director General of Border Security Force.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Amit Shah emphasized the importance of strengthening coastal security under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He highlighted the government’s commitment to enhancing the security of the nation’s borders and ensuring the safety of its citizens.

Shri Amit Shah praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision. He named Dwarka, the gateway of the country, the location for the National Coastal Police Academy, which would provide training for coastal security. He shared plans for the academy, stating that it would be capable of training 3,000 personnel annually, ensuring 100% training coverage for all individuals involved in India’s coastal security within four years. The total cost of this project would be 470 INR-Crore.
