Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday, December 10, laid the foundation stone for two industrial units in Mandsaur district, Madhya Pradesh. These units propose a combined investment of around 140 INR-Crore and promise to accelerate industrial growth.
Hariom Refinery, a manufacturer of soya products, is set to invest an estimated 132.8 INR-Crore for a state-of-the-art processing unit. Additionally, Mexican Agro Chemical Ltd committed around 7.15 INR-Crore to establish a super phosphate fertilizer facility. The CM also announced the development of two sprawling industrial parks in Semli Kankad and Basai, Mandsaur.

The first industrial park in Semli Kankad will span approximately 80.26 Hectares. The estimated cost for this project is 61.26 INR-Crore, and it expects to attract around 2,500 INR-Crore in investments from 100 units while creating 5,000 jobs. Furthermore, the second park, in Basai, will cover around 178.83 Hectares and cost 89 INR-Crore to develop. This larger park is poised to attract an estimated 4,000 INR-Crore in investments from 180 units, generating 8,000 employment opportunities.
