Foundation stone laid for interchange clover-leaf loop: Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary, DS Mishra, on Friday, December 15, laid the foundation stone for the interchange clover-leaf loop linking the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway. The project will be developed at an estimated cost of INR 122 Crore across nearly 57 hectares of land parcel.

The interchange is being constructed near the Budh International Racing Circuit and is scheduled to be operational within 18 months. The project will include four entry/exits, four loops, and four ramps. NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) will fund 80% of the construction cost whereas YEIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority) will fund the remaining 20%. YEIDA will also be responsible for the construction of the entry/exit points of the interchange.

The interchange clover-leaf loop aims to connect the two crucial expressways while ensuring a smooth ride for commuters. It is also vital for providing direct connectivity between Delhi NCR and Noida International Airport in Jewar.
