The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is set to construct multi-level flyovers, grade separators, and underpasses at two major junctions—IIIT Junction and Khajaguda Junction. These developments aim to ease congestion and improve connectivity. The project will cost an estimated 650 INR-Crore.

GHMC will also widen and upgrade key roads. A 215-foot stretch from the Cyberabad Police Commissioner’s office to Gachibowli Junction will see major improvements. Additionally, a 150-foot road from Anjaiah Nagar to Ramky Tower will undergo expansion, ensuring smoother vehicular movement.

At Khajaguda Junction, authorities have planned a three-lane flyover from Nanakramguda to Tolichowki. Meanwhile, another three-lane underpass will seamlessly connect Tolichowki to Biodiversity Junction. GHMC has invited bids for surveying, investigation, detailed design, and construction under the EPC model, ensuring efficiency and precision. The selected contractor will oversee utility shifting, managing electrical, water supply, sewerage, and communication lines under expert supervision.

Officials expect to complete the work within two years of signing the agreement. With these upgrades, Hyderabad’s traffic infrastructure will take a major leap forward, offering commuters a faster, hassle-free experience.
