The Gujarat cabinet has approved a proposal to establish 21 new industrial estates in 13 districts across the state.
During a cabinet meeting held in Gandhinagar on Wednesday, May 17, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel granted permission for the establishment of these 21 industrial estates and gave in-principle approval to initiate a pre-feasibility assessment report.
The pre-feasibility study will encompass various factors including the availability of land for the estates, demand and supply considerations, and agricultural production in the respective areas.
The Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation will oversee the management of these 21 new estates, which will be located in Rajkot, Mehsana, Mahisagar, Bharuch, Banaskantha, Patan, Chhotaudepur, Gir Somnath, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Amreli, Anand, and Junagadh districts.
