The Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, on Monday, October 16, laid the foundation stone for Bhagwan Parshuram Government Medical College. It is located in Sapan Village of district Kaithal, Haryana.
The proposed medical college will develop on 20 Acres of land parcel. The estimated cost for the project is 950 INR-Crore. It will accommodate 500 beds and 700 MBBS seats.

Khattar aims to extend healthcare services by establishing medical facilities with dieticians and providing healthcare advice to residents in each district. As of 2023, the government successfully established 15 medical colleges accommodating 2185 MBBS seats.
The government plans on establishing additional eight medical colleges in Fatehabad, Sirsa, Charkhi Dadri, Palwal, and more in the upcoming 3-4 years. Adding 3500 more MBBS seats.
