Conceived in collaboration with the Milan based Colombian designer –
Santiago Luna, the elegant armchair offers an invitation to “touch” it and feel comfortable in your surroundings.

About the TIP Armchair

Post-pandemic, the way we interact with the world has changed, most importantly, “the sense of touch” has been affected. The TIP armchair is designed to bring back the excitement to discover the world around us. Jose de Ribera’s 1632 painting, Allegory of Touch inspired the design.

“As a designer, one of my aims is to improve people’s lives, but also to boost their senses. That’s why I designed TIP – an armchair composed of curved surfaces that render it ‘touchable’,” Santiago says – “It’s backrest, together with the armrests fade into the front and back legs creating a pleasant, concave surface, become an invitation to touch and feel the unknown. It allows one to enjoy the experience of being back in contact with the objects that surround us.” A generously proportioned chair with a wooden frame the TIP armchair comes with seat cushions in a range of delightful colours. Warm earthy tones meet pastels to evoke a comforting vibe, making the chairs compatible with any contemporary space.
