The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is set to embark on an ambitious project to improve traffic flow around the Kasu Brahmananda Reddy (KBR) Park in Jubilee Hills. The project entails the construction of six flyovers and underpasses. The estimated cost to construct the six flyovers is INR 586 Crore.
The new infrastructure will be developed at six locations, including near KBR Park, Road No. 45 Film Nagar Junction, and Banjara Hills Road No. 10. GHMC will soon release a tender for architectural design firms. The firms will craft a plan and showcase the flyovers and underpasses in stunning 3D models. As the area is eco-sensitive, the authorities aim to minimize tree cutting.

Additionally, the selected consultant will study the current conditions at the six junctions such as traffic congestion, design specifications, and the impact of the flyovers on the congestion. Within 15 days after reaching an agreement, the consultant will complete the study. This project signifies GHMC’s commitment to a smoother traffic flow around KBR Park.
