IHCL announces 200-Key Ginger Hotel in Thane

Indian Hotel Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, on Tuesday, July 16, announced the signing of its fifth Ginger-branded hotel in Thane, Maharashtra. IHCL has collaborated with Jagdale Infrastructure Private Limited for this new hotel.

Ginger Thane, a 200-key hotel, sits in the heart of the business district near retail centers. The hotel features Qmin, the signature all-day diner, offering a delightful array of global and local favorites, along with a bar. Moreover, it will provide modern amenities like a cutting-edge fitness center. Additionally, it includes an approximate 2000 SqFt banquet hall and well-equipped meeting rooms. It offers guests the perfect blend of work and leisure in vibrant, contemporary spaces.

This greenfield project also embraces Ginger’s lean luxe design philosophy. The signing of Ginger Thane aligns with IHCL’s strategic vision of expanding its presence in key urban centers in India, said Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL. Ginger Thane marks another step towards enhancing IHCL’s urban footprint.
