Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, recently announced the signing of a hotel in Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh. The company has partnered with Raj Hotels for the upcoming greenfield hotel, branded ‘Gateway’.
Gateway Sarnath is poised to be the city’s largest hotel, comprising 160 keys. It will feature an all-day diner, and a bar, with recreational facilities such as a gym and swimming pool. Additionally, it will include a 6,500 SqFt banquet hall and meeting rooms. The upcoming IHCL Gateway Sarnath hotel will cater for social as well as corporate events.

With the addition of this hotel IHCL currently has a portfolio of 24 hotels in Uttar Pradesh, of which 11 are under construction. These are under the brands Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger.
