The Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) is expanding its existing facility with its ambitious project named ‘ABHYUDAYA‘, to enhance its educational infrastructure. IIM-I commenced the Bhumi Pujan for ABHYUDAYA on Wednesday, April 17.
The project will be developed at an estimated INR 432 Crore and will incorporate advanced environmental technologies to achieve a 5-star GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habit Assessment). The scope of work includes the construction of a new academic block with a capacity of 870 students, offices for 70 faculty members, and residential quarters for 32 faculty members, among other state-of-the-art facilities.

Additionally, it will feature a high-rise hostel with a capacity to accommodate 870 students, and an MDC accommodation block for lodging visiting faculty and guests. It will also comprise a dining hall, a terrace food court and an incubation center.
The innovation center will foster innovation and entrepreneurship among students. This hub will support management development programs and provide specialized facilities for virtual learning. The project also incorporates advanced environmental technologies such as solar power systems and solar water heating. The goal is to minimize reliance on non-renewable energy sources and reduce the campus’ carbon footprint.
