Indian Oil Corp, under the leadership of Chairman S.M. Vaidya, has unveiled an ambitious collaboration with LanzaJet to set up an aviation fuel plant in Haryana. This groundbreaking project aims to produce sustainable aviation fuel with an impressive production capacity of 80,000 tonnes. The company has earmarked a significant investment of around 2300 INR-crore ($280.1 million) for this venture, as announced by Vaidya during a prominent industry event held in New Delhi.
In addition to this remarkable initiative, Indian Oil Corp is actively engaged in a pilot project for green fuel, working in close partnership with Praj Industries. The pilot project, located in Maharashtra, showcases the company’s commitment to exploring and implementing environmentally friendly fuel alternatives.
