Kumar-NCC, a joint venture between J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd and NCC Ltd has secured the contract for the Mumbai Coastal Road Project (North) from BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) worth an estimated INR 4548 Crore. The company received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the BMC recently, the company announced during its stock exchange filing.
The project mentions two main components including Package B spanning from Bangur Nagar to Mindspace Malad interchange and the elevated corridor of the GMLR Connector. The project is anticipated to be completed within 48 months of commencement. J Kumar Infraprojects holds 50% of the total shares, totaling approximately INR 2274.06 Crore.

The scope of work includes the design, construction, and operation of dual tunnels extending from Film City in Goregaon to Khindipada, Mulund. It also includes the construction of a box tunnel at Film City with relevant electrical and mechanical works.
