Jindal Panther Cement will invest an estimated 2,160 INR-Crore to boost its production capacity to 7 Million Tonnes per annum (MTPA). The company will establish a 1.5 MTPA cement grinding unit in Angul, Odisha.
This unit will rely on around 1 mtpa of blast furnace slag sourced from Jindal Steel & Power’s Angul plant. The company expects to complete this capacity expansion over the next four years. Jindal Panther Cement already operates a 1 mtpa cement unit in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, at the Jindal Steel & Power facility.

By scaling up to 7 mtpa across Angul and Raigarh, the company aims to solidify its position in the cement industry. Additionally, the expansion will provide sustainable building materials, supporting infrastructure projects across the region.
