JSW Cement, a subsidiary of JSW Group, on Tuesday, May 21, announced its plans to invest an estimated INR 3,000 Crore for a new manufacturing plant in Rajasthan. The upcoming cement manufacturing plant will be developed in the Nagaur district of Rajasthan.
JSW’s integrated cement manufacturing plant in Rajasthan will have a clinkerization unit with a 3.30 MTPA (Million Tonnes Per Annum) capacity. The plant will also have a 2.50 MTPA grinding unit and an 18 MW waste heat recovery-based power generation system. The company plans to fund these investments through a mix of debt and equity.

Additionally, the JSW Cement plant, in Rajasthan, will have a 7km overland belt conveyor. This will transport limestone from the mines to the manufacturing plant. This project aligns with JSW Cements’ plans to increase its manufacturing capacity from the current 19 MTPA to 60 MTPA.
