Jupiter Renewables, a subsidiary of Kolkata-based Jupiter International, will invest an estimated 2,700 INR-Crore to build a solar cell manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The state is quickly emerging as a hub for solar module and cell production, with Jupiter Renewables being the third company to set up operations.

The project, located in Rambilli, Anakapalli district, will feature a 4.8 gigawatt (GW) solar photovoltaic (PV) cell and a 1.5 GW module manufacturing facility. It will be executed in two phases. Phase 1, with an investment of around 1,504 INR-Crore, includes 2.4 GW solar cell manufacturing and 1.5 GW module production, set for completion by March 2026.
