Lenskart, a leading eyewear manufacturer, is set to establish an estimated 1,500 INR-Crore production facility in Telangana. IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Banu laid the foundation stone for the facility at Tukkuguda’s non-SEZ General Park on Thursday, March 6. The project is set to create jobs for around 2,000 people.
The state government has provided an anticipated 50 Acres of prime land in Raviryala, near Tukkuguda, to bring this vision to life. Construction will move swiftly, with production beginning in two years. Full-scale operations will follow in four years. This eyewear production facility will craft high-quality products for export to several countries, including Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia.

While Lenskart already runs an advanced manufacturing unit in Rajasthan, this new plant will be the largest eyewear production facility in the world. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the facility will push boundaries in high-tech manufacturing.
