L&T Construction bags ‘significant’ order to construct a new AIIMS at Rewari, Haryana

L&T (Larsen and Toubro) Construction, on Tuesday, January 09, announced that the company has bagged a significant order to construct the new AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) at Rewari, Haryana. The company will develop the project with an estimated cost of INR 1000-2000 Crore on an EPC (Engineering, procurement, and Construction) Mode for HLL Infra Tech Services Limited (HITES) (Project Management Consultant, PMC).

AIIMS Rewari is being developed over an anticipated 220 Acres of land parcel with a construction area of nearly 1.5 Mn SqFt. The facility will include a 720-bed teaching hospital, a 30-bed AYUSH hospital, an auditorium having 500 seating capacity, hostel blocks, residential facilities, etc.

The scope of work involves civil structure, finishes and allied MEP services, including built-in furniture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of medical gas piping, modular OT, pneumatic tube system, nurse call system, central sterile supply department, external department work, and landscaping.
