On Monday, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that it has won important contracts to construct data centres with a combined capacity of 10.8 MW in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
Besides providing design, construction, and supply services for data centres and related buildings like fit-outs, the company will also be involved in supply activities.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged the contract to construct multiple data centres in Navi Mumbai. Contracts ranging between INR 1,000 cores and INR 2,500 crores are defined as significant orders by the Company. The company will design, construct, and be involved in supply work for the data centres and related buildings, including fit-outs.
The company also obtained a contract from Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. This contract states that the Company will provide the engineering, purchasing, and construction services for the “Statue of Oneness”, the Statue of Adi Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.
With an estimated height of 108-foot, the bronze statue will take 15 months to construct.
