Lubrizol Corporation, a leader in specialty chemicals, is set to invest an estimated INR 1,674 Crore over four years to set up a greenfield manufacturing facility in Aurangabad. The company has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Maharashtra to acquire an anticipated 120 Acres of land parcel.
The company plans this facility to support the region’s burgeoning transportation and industrial fluid markets. As a result, this plant will become the second-largest manufacturing facility of Lubrizol worldwide and its largest in India. The construction will unfold in phases over the coming years, with ample room for future expansion. The commencement of manufacturing is set to align with Lubrizol’s 100th anniversary in 2028.
