Lodha Group-owned Macrotech Developers has received approval from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for acquiring the Centaur Hotel from V Hotel. The developer plans to create a luxury residential project on the prime 6.1-acre land in Juhu, right along the beach and adjacent to the JW Marriott Hotel.

The land, situated on Juhu Tara Road in the western suburbs of Vile Parle, was previously owned by V Hotels. Macrotech Developers will pay approximately INR 890 Crore to acquire this property. The Centaur Hotel Juhu Beach, originally acquired from the Hotel Corporation of India, boasts around 367 keys, along with restaurants, large banquets, and a small retail component.

Although the hotel is currently non-operational, the land parcel holds immense potential for redevelopment. It can be repurposed for various asset classes, such as residential, commercial, retail, or a combination of these.

This ambitious project by Macrotech Developers promises to redefine luxury living in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after locations. With the beach as its backdrop, the upcoming residential development is poised to offer a lifestyle that harmonizes elegance, comfort, and breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea.
