Maharashtra has taken a historic step by announcing its first Tribal University in Nashik. This ambitious project aims to revolutionize educational access for tribal communities.
The university will require approximately 35,000 SqM of land and an estimated investment of 240 INR-Crore. This budget will cover infrastructure development, campus construction, and operational needs. Additionally, the institution plans to employ 160 dedicated staff members, including teaching and non-teaching personnel.

The Tribal University in Maharashtra will also offer various academic programs, from undergraduate to postgraduate and research opportunities. Departments will span diverse fields, including engineering, environmental sciences, IT, ayurvedic sciences, and public health.
