Mussoorie to get direct link via elevated road from Delhi worth 6,100 INR-Crore

The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway will soon feature a 26 Km elevated road, providing a direct link to Mussoorie. The 6,100 INR-Crore project aims to reduce congestion and cut travel time for tourists.

To construct the Mussoorie elevated road, authorities will acquire land in 26 localities. This involves demolishing 2,614 houses along the Rispana and Bindal rivers. Furthermore, property owners will receive monetary compensation, as no land-for-land proposal has been finalized.

Once operational, the Mussoorie elevated road will allow travelers from Delhi to reach Mussoorie in just four hours. It is further set to transform connectivity, making travel faster and more efficient. The social impact survey for the proposed project will be completed within 15 days. Meanwhile, the authorities have started marking affected houses for acquisition.
