Namma Metro Phase 3A gets cabinet nod at 28,405 INR-Crore

The state cabinet has approved the Namma Metro Phase 3A line, which will connect Sarjapur to Hebbal. With an estimated cost of 28,405 INR-Crore, this 36.6 Km line will include a 22.1 Km elevated corridor featuring 17 stations and a 14.5 Km underground stretch with 11 stations.

This project will seamlessly link Bengaluru’s IT hub in the east with the northern regions of the city. Additionally, the expected project completion date is five and a half years from the approval date. Upon completion of Namma Metro Phase 3A, Bengaluru’s metro network will span approximately 258.79 Km.

Furthermore, at Hebbal, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) plans to construct a station offering access to the Blue Line and the Orange Line (Kempapura to JP Nagar). Namma Metro Phase 3A will dramatically enhance Bengaluru’s metro connectivity, transforming the city’s transport landscape and ensuring smooth access to key commercial and residential areas.
