New 400-bed multi-specialty Hospital to come up in Mumbai’s Borivli

D-Mart promoter Radhakishan Damani’s foundation, on Monday, April 29, announced setting up the Damani Multi Super Specialty Hospital in Mumbai’s Borivli. This 400-bed medical facility will cater to a diverse range of healthcare needs.

The upcoming hospital will be situated in Magathane, Borivli East. It will be developed on a part of the 8.8-acre plot acquired by Radhakishan Damani from CCI Projects for nearly INR 500 Crore. The foundation aims to complete the hospital within four years.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who attended the ceremony, encouraged the foundation to finish construction before September 17, 2026, and also suggested increasing the capacity to 1,000 beds. The foundation plans to invest an estimated INR 6,000 Crore in this ambitious healthcare project. It is to be a beacon of health and healing, serving the community with excellence and compassion.
