Nitin Gadkari approves INR 3,890.45 Crore for NH-913 construction in Arunachal

Union Minister for Road and Transport, Nitin Gadkari, approved the construction of three sections of National Highway NH-913 (Frontier Highway) worth an estimated INR 3890.45 Crore in Arunachal Pradesh. These include the Lada-Sarli section, the Sarli-Huri section, and the Kharsang-Miao-Vijaynagar-Gandhigram section totaling a span of 202.14 Km.

The 105.59km long Lada-Sarli section will see an estimated investment of INR 2248.94 Crore with packages 1,2,3, and 6 executed in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Mode. The 35km long Sarli-Huri section will be developed on EPC Mode (in Kurung Kumey district) worth approximately INR 626.92 Crore, whereas the Kharsang-Miao-Vijaynagar-Gandhigram section spanning 61.55 Km will get an investment of INR 1014.59 Crore and will be executed on EPC Mode.

The project will contribute significantly to the development of essential road infrastructure connecting river basins, catalyzing hydropower development, and promoting tourism in Upper Arunachal. It will boost economic activity and facilitate a swift communication network for security forces.
