Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Wednesday, February 14, laid the foundation stone of Avaada Group‘s Green Hydrogen Project at the Ganjam district in Gopalpur. The project will see an estimated investment of INR 8000 Crore and will contribute towards India’s goal of being a global green hydrogen manufacturing hub.
The cutting-edge green ammonia storage facility will enable exporting of green hydrogen, contributing to global Net Zero. It is anticipated to be completed by December 2026 and create 1600 direct and 4000 indirect job opportunities.
