Patel Engineering Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder for two major projects valued at an estimated 2,037 INR-Crore. The first contract awarded by CIDCO is for a dam construction project in Maharashtra’s Karjat Taluka.
This 1,318.89 INR-Crore order involves building the Kondhane Dam using Roller Compacted Concrete technology. The scope includes civil works for a 1,209 M long and 83 M high dam along with allied infrastructure. Moreover, the contract mandates project completion within 42 months. This project will enhance water storage and management in the region.

Patel Engineering has bagged another contract from the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd. This 718 INR-Crore hydroelectric project involves constructing a 240 MW hydroelectric plant in Arunachal Pradesh. The plant will generate approximately 1,000 million units of energy each year, thereby improving regional power reliability. Additionally, the hydroelectric project will support clean energy development and reduce the load on thermal power sources. The construction is slated for completion within 44 months.
