Piccadily Agro Industries Ltd (PAIL), known for its Indri brand, has announced a significant expansion plan worth an estimated 1,000 INR-Crore. This ambitious plan aims to enhance the company’s production capabilities and establish new distilleries across India and Scotland.
The expansion includes a brownfield development in Haryana and a greenfield project in Chhattisgrah. PAIL will increase the production capacity of its existing distillery in Indri, Haryana, to 250 Kilo-Liters per Day (KLPD). This includes boosting ENA/Ethanol production to 220 KLPD and scaling up malt production from 12 to 30 KLPD.

Moreover, a new distillery will be set up in the Mahasamund district, with a production capacity of 210 KLPD. This will comprise 180 KLPD of ENA/Ethanol and 30 KLPD of malt.
Piccadily Agro Industries’ expansion plan is a significant step towards solidifying India’s position in the global premium spirits market. The company aims to increase its overall production capacity to 460 KLPD, including 60 KLPD of malt spirits, to meet the rising demand for Indian as well as international markets.
