PM lays foundation stone for new 410 INR-Crore terminal building at Hisar airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for a new terminal building at Hisar Airport in Haryana on Monday, April 14. The government will invest an estimated 410 INR-Crore in this state-of-the-art facility. 

The new terminal at the Hisar Airport will include a modern passenger area, a cargo section, and a well-equipped Air Traffic Control building. Moreover, this expansion falls under the UDAN scheme, which strives to make air travel affordable and accessible to all.

As part of this initiative, regular flights now operate between Hisar and Ayodhya twice a week. Additionally, passengers can enjoy three weekly flights from Hisar Airport to cities such as Jammu, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh.
