On Wednesday, October 9, PM Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various developments in Maharashtra. These projects are worth an estimated 7,600 INR-Crore.
Firstly, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the upgradation of Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The estimated cost of the project is 7,000 INR-Crore. This initiative will act as a catalyst for growth in multiple sectors, including manufacturing, aviation, tourism, logistics, and healthcare. Moreover, it will greatly benefit Nagpur city and the broader Vidarbha region.

Furthermore, he laid the foundation stone for the New Integrated Terminal Building at Shirdi Airport, valued at an estimated 645 INR-Crore. This facility will offer world-class amenities and services for religious tourists visiting Shirdi. The design of the proposed terminal draws inspiration from the spiritual neem tree of Sai Baba.
PM Modi also launched the operationalization of 10 Government Medical Colleges in Maharashtra, in line with his commitment to ensuring affordable and accessible healthcare for all.
