The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has commenced civil work on a new bridge spanning 10 meters across the Mula-Mutha River. This project, running parallel to the existing Aga Khan bridge, aims to establish a direct connection between Koregaon Park (North Main Road) and Kalyaninagar.
The existing bridge has four lanes, while the new one will have at least two lanes. The project is expected to ease traffic movement in the area. Work has recently begun, and completion is anticipated within 18 to 24 months.
