On Friday, October 4, the Pune Metro invited tenders for the design and construction of underground stations at Market Yard, Padmavati, and Katraj. These stations are key to the Swargate-Katraj extension of the Purple Line, which currently operates from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to Swargate.

In addition, Pune Metro has also floated tenders for four elevated stations at Chinchwad, Akurdi, Nigdi, and Bhakti Shakti. These tenders exclude viaduct, pier arms, girder erection, and electrical work. However, plumbing works are included for the elevated stations. The awarded contractor will oversee the design and construction of the underground stations and associated tunnels along the North-South Corridor of the Pune Metro project.
