The proposed project envisages the construction and maintenance of the Rajiv Gandhi Fintech Digital Institute, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. On the campus is a Dean’s residence that has a ground floor and 1 upper floor, and an academic and administration block that has a basement, a ground floor and 17 upper floors. This proposed project also has a faculty block that has a ground floor with 9 upper floors, and a hostel block that has a ground floor and 9 upper floors. Also, a part of the design program is a Director’s bungalow that has a ground floor and 1 upper floor, a workshop, and a non-teaching staff block that has a ground floor and 1 upper floor.
As of August 2022, Ashoka Buildcon received the contract for Civil Works. The other organisations associated with this project include Workspace Design Studio Pvt Ltd, Vis Arch India, and Consulting Engineers Group Ltd. (CEG). The duration of this project is 2 years (2022 to 2024).

The state government of Rajasthan established the Department of Computers in 1987. In its nascent stage, it was functioning under the State’s Planning Department, to provide state government a strong technical foundation to better serve its citizens and to create more accountability and efficiency through computerization. Thereafter, on 1st April 1988, the Department was reconstituted as Directorate of Computers.
