The proposed project envisages integrated redevelopment of Puri Railway Station in Odisha with state-of-the-art architecture, seamless modal interchange, enhanced passenger facilities, and public amenities. The concession period for station estate development (including operation & maintenance) is 60 years. The redevelopment of Railway Station will primarily consist of upgrading the level of passenger amenities by new constructions, and renovations and include the redevelopment of the station building, platform surfaces and shelters, and circulation area for better service and cater to the needs of the passengers.

The proposed project spreads over a land area of 15 acres and has a built-up area of 189,380 square feet. The proposal consists of a 2-storey station building and 2 platform sheds. The public premises is planned according to the green building rules and regulations. The amenities include a cafe and restaurant. The incorporation of a sewage treatment plant and rainwater harvesting system promotes sustainability.
