Reliance Industries will invest an estimated 65,000 INR-Crore to establish 500 Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) plants across Andhra Pradesh. On Wednesday, April 3, the company laid the foundation stone for its first CBG Plant near Divakarapalli village in Kanigiri.
The first plant of the upcoming Reliance CBG Plants will span an anticipated 475 Acres and will require around 139 INR-Crore. This state-of-the-art facility will produce 100 Tonnes of CBG. Meanwhile, Reliance will utilize nearly 500,000 Acres of barren and waste lands in Prakasam, Anantapur, Chittoor, and Kadapa. Once fully operational, these facilities will generate around 4 Million Tonnes of clean, green CBG and 1.1 Million Metric Tonnes of organic fertilizer annually.

Moreover, the entire investment is expected to create 250,000 jobs, bringing new opportunities to rural communities.
