Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), in an earning statement, announced that the new Dhirbubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat, is set to be commissioned in the second half of CY24.
The Green Energy Giga Complex sprawls across an anticipated 5000 Acres of land parcel and will be the world’s largest integrated renewable energy manufacturing facility post-completion. The facility comprises five giga factories for photovoltaic panels, fuel cell systems, green hydrogen, energy storage, and power electronics. The project will be commenced in phases this year, added the MD of RIL.

Additionally, RIL signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Gujarat Government to set up a 100 GW renewable power facility worth an estimated INR 5 Lakh Crore and has received clearance for an anticipated 74,750 hectares of land in Kutch for a green hydrogen project.
