Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for a building complex of Osmania General Hospital (OGH) at Goshamahal in Hyderabad. The government will invest an estimated 2,700 INR-Crore to develop this project within two years.
Authorities have allocated around 26 Acres land parcel for this development. Spanning an anticipated 32 Lakh-SqFt, the facility will strictly adhere to NMC and IPHS norms while accommodating 2,000 beds. The new Osmania hospital complex will house 29 major and 12 minor operation theatres. Additionally, the facility will feature modern laundry, STP, ETP, and an advanced biomedical waste management system, ensuring top-tier hygiene and sustainability.

Furthermore, the hospital will include 30 departments, introducing eight super-specialty disciplines. A new academic block will host nursing, dental, and physiotherapy colleges, fostering future healthcare professionals. To enhance convenience, the Osmania hospital complex will incorporate a spacious ground-plus-two (G+2) parking facility.
