Sanjyt Syngh’s New Design Studio
Located in the by lanes of Sultanpur, the new hub of Interior stores that Sanjyt Syngh chose to open his unequalled studio. Conceived as a fashion forward New York loft, this very personal project amplifies the
essence of his Stygian design sensibility. This space challenges the brief that dark colours shrink a space. The zonal experience amplifies the use of fashion colours in interiors. Leading the focus as you enter is a typographic marble inlay on the floor. Syngh chose the word “DREAM” to interpret the kind of spaces
he likes to create. A 12-foot dining table made in Dalmata stone doubles up as a conference space when needed. The table is accompanied by Tulip Chairs from Knoll. Across the floor you will see multiple interior set-ups that are connected by one single element, his love for colour black. The entire floor is black marble and helps transcend one space into the other. Each defined space incorporates distinct wall panelling from Brutalist angles to organic curves to bold red. A variety of bespoke objects are on display in the manner of an art installation.
He didn’t want to label this space as an office. It is his personal creative studio, so he wanted his design ethic and the love for everything quirky to scream at the top of the lungs. His name is Sanjyt Syngh and “This is Not A Barber Shop”.
