New Delhi: On June 7, 2023, Serentica Renewables announced that it has awarded contracts worth INR 10,000 Crore with leading clean energy solution providers for the development of 1.5 GW of renewable energy capacity in India.
The company has partnered with Suzlon, Siemens Gamesa, and Envision for its wind projects in Maharashtra and Karnataka, while Jinko Solar and Trina Solar will supply solar modules for its projects in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
Suzlon, Sterling & Wilson, Amara Raja Power Systems, EverRenew, and Rays Power will handle the engineering, procurement, and construction aspects of the projects. The commissioning of these projects is scheduled for FY25. Serentica Renewables is establishing solar and wind power capacities in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan, securing connectivity to the inter-state transmission system.
