SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL), a renewable subsidiary of SJVN Ltd, signed a Contract Agreement for the Balance of System (BoS) with Solar World Energy Pvt Ltd for setting up a 360MW Solar Power Project at Bhuj in Gujarat. The contract includes operation and maintenance of the Solar PV Plant for three years.
The upcoming project will generate 901.87 Million units of energy in the first year and approximately 21,244 Million units over 25 years. It aims to reduce 1.49 Million tonnes of carbon emissions, contributing to India’s carbon-neutral economy.

SJVN secured this project on a Build Own & Operate basis in an open competitive bidding process conducted by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) and has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with GUVNL for 25 years.
